Abstract

A 34-year old woman, with no significant clinical history, consulted due to the presence of skin lesions on the lower limbs of 3 years evolution, treated with oral antifungal drugs without showing any improvement. After a physical examination, she was diagnosed of Bier Spots. We, as physicians, should be aware of this condition, given that the diagnostic error sometimes leads to unnecessary treatments, exposing the patients to possible undesired adverse effects
