Abstract
Medicines made from so-called CAR-T cells, have become one of the most important contributions to therapeutics in recent years. Its main contribution at the moment belongs to the field of Onco-hematology, offering spectacular results and excellent perspectives to broaden its usage. Basically, it consists in a type of immunological genetic cell therapy, in which we use the patient’s own immune cells, that have been previously genetically modified the T lymphocytes, to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) capable of specifically binding to a CD expressed by the tumor cells. Being able to identify and attack said cells. They offer the advantage of a single administration, in addition to its specificity on malignant cells.
