Abstract

Comic and poetry have numerous connections that have not yet been fully explored. This paper explores the genesis and development of a pioneering project: Duplex, in which couples formed by a poet and a comics creator work side by side to produce a hybrid work that drinks from the two disciplines. To date, two editions of the project have already been published in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, with associated anthologies and exhibitions, and a Spanish edition is on its way.
