Resumen

In this work, the incipient construction in Spain of an HIV response based on rights is presented from a critical perspective. The Social Pact for Non-Discrimination and Equal Treatment associated with HIV, accompanied by other normative measures, aims to achieve non-discrimination and equal treatment through a series of specific objectives (favoring equal treatment and opportunities for people with HIV; working for social acceptance; reducing the impact of stigma on people with HIV; and generating knowledge that guides policies and actions against discrimination). This paper focuses on some of these objectives that are developed through lines of actions, which are specified in a series of measures.
