Zusammenfassung
Building social security systems has been traditionally the task of national states. This fact has made difficult to internationalize them. However, the right to social security has been enshrined in important international documents, such us the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The International Labour Organization (ILO), for its part, has contributed, albeit with oscillations, to the standardization of the international projection of the right under review in this article.
