Résumé

The work presented represents a historical research of investigation of a period and circumstance of Present Time History of Olympism. In this work we will deal the process of creation of the Iberoamerican Association of Olympic Academies, in Madrid on June 14, 1990, which changed its name from Iberoamerican by the current Paniberian, in 2002. This meant that not only integrated National Academies of America and the Iberian Peninsula, but also Academies of former Spanish and Portuguese colonies in Africa. In order to develop this topics have been analyzed the historical and social context where Conrado Durántez Corral managed the creation of the institution and the circumstances that had to be resolved in the process. The work also aims to expose the consequences that globally that creation was, as an act covered by the Spanish Olympic Academy as main promoter, and in 1996 was recognized by the International Olympic Academy and the International Olympic Committee through its then president, Juan Antonio Samaranch.
