Abstract
Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) is a rare disease whose estimated incidence is 2 to 10 cases per one million inhabitants. In spite of this, its prognosis is very serious, so that it is fundamental to know how to identify it on time and to be able to carry out an early approach since, this disease, if untreated, can result in death in just a few days.
