Abstract

Making, using and interpreting maps is necessary in Environmental and Earth's Sciences. This paper shows the foundations and methodology to realize an exercise proposed to universitary students of the matter «Environmental and Ecological Mapping» (Studies of Sanitary and Environmental Biology. University of Alcalá de Henares. Spain). The aim of the exercise is the hypothetical afforestation on Trijueque Area (Province of Cuadalajara. Central Spain).
