Abstract

The Geological Laboratory of the National Museum of Natural Sciences developed between 1910 and 1936, and important teaching activity to expand the Geological Sciencies, organizing courses and field trips attended, among others, by a let of teachers from the National College, Normal Colleges and Institutes, organized the mineral rocks and fossils collections that veresent to every middle and basic teaching center that asked for them and created a contact way between the investigation and the universitary teaching and, a the other hend, all the teach levels. During this time this Geological Laboratory belonged to the "Junta para Ampliación de Estudios e Investigaciones Científicas".
