Abstract

This work studies the figure of legitimate interest in current contentious-administrative jurisprudence, as well as in constitutional doctrine. More specifically, it focuses on the identification of the essential characteristics of legitimate interest and the variety of rates that Spanish Courts have configured. The result is the tendency to recognize the legitimate interest in a broad way, having as limit the interest in legality.
