Zusammenfassung

The cardiovascular system can be directly or indirectly affected by helminths and protozoa. Given that these infections are an important cause of morbidity and mortality in a large part of the world and their importance has increased in non-endemic areas in recent years due to migration and international tourism, it is important for clinicians to be familiarized with these cardiovascular manifestations. This protocol aims to facilitate a diagnostic and treatment approach to cardiovascular diseases caused by parasites, taking into account their epidemiology and symptoms.
