Abstract

The landscape beyond being a trivial concern, a scientific pipe dream or a romantic pose in front of the territory, it is culture. This is the essence of what it takesto get to understand them.Another remarkable aspect is its ability to contain heritage. The new landscapes are built on previous, nourishing the vestiges that remain in the territory. Theyappear territorial markings identifying a place and itsanthropological tradition thus creating its identity. The landscape has an important invisible dimension. The emotions, the concrete, experiences,... are features and circumstances of the place, together withthe physical characteristics of the territory, collaborating in their declaration. In this sense, the artisticinterventions are a powerful tool for this. With respect for nature, the mark-absence relationship and the ethics of the ephemeral as a starting point, there are many artists who direct their work towardthe mark of someone absent, creating a sensory linkbeyond the arts and earthly with the landscape. We are going to highlight the work of several artists, distinguishing between three aspects: art in the landscape, art with the landscape and art become landscape. However, the art varies over time and social change.Like the landscape, it also mutates to suit the currentsituation with a common concern about the effects onthe environment. In short, the consequences of interventions (artistic or not) are invisible footprint withostensible results.
