Résumé
The bond of Mies van der Rohe with symmetry is a constant in his work that is sensed beyond the evidence given on the floor of their projects. Through analysis of their favorite books, you can hypothesize a deeper knowledge of the symmetrical by Mies. Based on the understanding of a new meaning of symmetry from physics and mathematics, and that extends the traditional concept that had the look at Mies work takes on another meaning aimed at the realization of a coherent space with the spirit of the time, and he called "universal space." An isotropic space reveals a higher level of symmetry characterized by some architectural invariants such as: unlimited, immaterial, weightless, indifferent or unfinished, unseen symmetries true modern architecture.
