Resum

This article reviews some of the key elements of Daisaku Ikeda's 2020 Peace Proposal. The text of the proposal gave rise, in December 2020, to an activity of the Daisaku Ikeda Joint University Institute for Research in Education and Development in which various round tables inspired by its content were presented. The proposal revolves around three fundamental themes: the prohibition of the use of nuclear weapons and weapons managed by artificial intelligence, the awareness of our individual role in reducing natural disasters and their consequences, and the right to education as a pillar of social change.
