Résumé

The future of the Economic and Monetary Union in Europe emerges as an essential process to consolidate economic stability and resilience in the eurozone. The perspective on the future of the Economic and Monetary Union in Europe relies on the convergence of three essential pillars: increased fiscal coordination, a robust banking union, and the establishment of a common capital market. These fundamental elements require a strong political commitment to carry out their effective implementation at the European level. Nevertheless, the EU faces the question of whether it will continue to progress toward a deeper and more resilient EMU or if it will halt in the face of the political challenges this process entails. The answer to this question will define the course of the EMU and have a lasting impact on the economic prosperity of the eurozone. As Europe strives to shape a more robust economic future, political cooperation and the willingness to move towards greater political integration emerge as essential imperatives. The future of the EMU in Europe hangs in the balance and depends on the decisions we make in the coming years.
