Abstract

The eyes in Antiquity have been the object of worship for many civilizations. This review reviews the power of the eyes, the diseases that affected them and the different treatments used over time. This theme, the eyes, is a vehicle that allows us to advance through the medicine of antiquity and its configuration to lay the foundations of what we know today.
