Abstract
The 11th Language and Communication Conference was held on the 18 – 19 th April 2023, at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Alcalá (Spain). On this occasion, the chosen theme was Verbal taboo: study and teaching. Once more, the Conference has served as a forum for researchers, teachers, and students, and for people from the University of Alcalá and outside it. To make its content available to an even wider public, “Lingüística en la Red” publishes a monographic annex to number 20, including the texts of the lectures prepared by the speakers.
