Abstract

This paper analyzes the origins and inclinations of the formats that, in the early 2000s, fostered the emergence of new forms of architectural discourse on the internet. Firstly, those formats propelled the theoretical work of voices outside academia and printed media, including blogs, microblogs, and forums. Secondly were those formats that became pervasive with the appearance of social media, like threads and boards.
