Abstract

We live in a time of global economic crisis and we have internalized this point as a part of our daily vocabulary being that perception which marks our lives. Faced by offered hopeless, the words of Gilbert Keith Chesterton (1874-1936) «The Golden Age returns to men when they are forgotten gold, albeit in time», we suggest that even without large amounts of money, we can do things with effort and with the means at our disposal, simply working together. This is what a group of people thought four years ago and that has been materialized this year with the celebration of the Fourth Conference on Tropical Diseases and International Health carried out at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Alcalá. So, this paper describes the process of management, development and evaluation of the Conference on International Health and Tropical Diseases that occur annually in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Alcalá. It is a very comprehensive work process, with many nuances, which is made from a professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences I and the Delegation of Medical Students in a consensus, active and direct way to proceed.
