Abstract

The innovative university teaching has the aim to facilitate the construction of the knowledge through the continuously improvement of teaching methods. In the present global information society, the University evolution is pushed to find the quality and the engagement with its surrounding. Among the new concepts from the open information one in particular stands out from the rest: the OpenCourseWare (OCW) project led by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The purpose of the OCW is to facilitate open and free the educational material that University teachers use in their classrooms, as well as the didactic organization of subjects and courses. Now at days, several hundred institutions in America, Europe, Africa and Asia are members of the OCW Consortium, including the most prestigious Universities in the world. This work illustrate the elaboration process of a teaching content set in Renal Physiology, in order to be published in the OCW initiative context.
