Abstract

This work has been done by a literature research about the flu virus (Influenza Virus) and its prevention. This prevention can be through the vaccine, of which there are different types and which changes each year due to polymorphism of the virus, and through chemoprophylaxis. Both are usually used only in risk groups who could be more exposed to the virus, or whom risk of suffering the disease is increased. We have added other points of interest such as the flu throughout history, preconceived ideas that the population has about virus vaccination, and others like treatment for the disease.
