Résumé
Cerebral Palsy is a set of permanent disorders that affect movement, posture and balance, and that affects activity and participation. Educational physiotherapy seeks to increase personal autonomy, facilitate integration and adapt learning to students with special needs. The aim of this study case was to evaluate the effect of a Physiotherapy intervention, which combines Task-Oriented Motor Learning Therapy and Therapeutic Exercise with treadmill. The outcome variables were participation, gross motor function, gait speed and resistance, trunk control and functional goals. A 10-week case study was carried out with a 3-year-old boy diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. The Physiotherapy intervention was carried out in two phases: an intensive period of 6 weeks with 7 weekly physiotherapy sessions and a non-intensive period of 4 weeks with 3 sessions a week. After 10 weeks, improvements were observed in all variables, with minimal clinically important changes in gross motor function, gait speed and gait endurance. Therefore, the conclusions are that the proposed intervention has a positive effect in participation, gross motor function, gait speed and gait endurance, trunk control and functional goals in a child diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.
