This dialogue between Laura Formenti (Professor of General and Social Pedagogy at the Universita’ degli Studi di Milano Biccoca and coordinator of the Permanent Research Laboratory on the Pedagogy of Labour Transformations), Luana Bruno and Ana Belén García-Varela reflects on the power of language to construct meanings and give meaning to reality. In it, Laura Formenti talks about her extensive experience in research from a systemic approach and how to build processes of enquiry where at the same time we are creating value in our society. She highlights her work with family therapists and her latest research on immigration through the phenomenon of the newcomer, which allows us to reinterpret the meaning of cultural integration.
