Resumen
Pelvic floor morbidity is very frequent in the population and even more so in the female population, due firstly to the anatomy and additionally due to the tissue degenerative process that can develop due to age, pregnancy and childbirth, especially in instrumental births [1]. DeLancey defines that 1 in 10 women will have a significant pelvic floor dysfunction during their lifetime, which may even require surgery [2]. This is why we are faced with a very important public health problem that women may have to face at some point in their lives. The increasing insertion of women in the labour market, as well as in more and more social activities, means that pelvic floor morbidity has an even greater impact on women's quality of life.
