Daniel Rodriguez is currently an associate professor (tenured) at the Computer Science Department of the University of Alcala, Madrid, Spain. He is also a regular visiting researcher at Oxford Brookes University, UK. Previously, Daniel was an on-line tutor at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) for the Compilers module. Also, he was a lecturer at the University of Reading, UK (2001-2006), as well as a seasonal lecturer until 2010 at the MSc in Network Centred Computing covering the Data Mining and Information Retrieval module. He was a visiting researcher at CREST while at King's College London (now at UCL). Daniel earned his degree in Computer Science at the University of the Basque Country (EHU) and PhD degree at the University of Reading, UK in 2003. He also obtained his Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice of the University of Reading, UK (2005). His research interest include data mining and software engineering in general and the application of data mining (machine learning) techniques to Software Engineering problems in particular.
