Resumen

Este artículo estudia la desigualdad en el mercado de trabajo que se produce entre quienes están ocupados y que tiene que ver con el hecho de que los ingresos laborales difieren entre las personas ocupadas. En particular, se analizan los factores que pueden explicar el grado de desigualdad salarial y la incidencia del empleo de bajos salarios y se examinan los datos referidos a los países desarrollados. Para ello, se adopta una perspectiva comparativa internacional y temporal, al examinar no solo la existencia de diferencias entre países sino también su evolución a lo largo del tiempo
