Abstract

Access students over 25 years old are one of the most ignored aspects of teaching research, not only at UNED, but at many universities. The students start the course very motivated but a series of problems prevent their usual progress so that their presence in the tutorials is drastically reduced throughout the course. This observational analysis carried out in the 2017-2018 academic year at the Torrejón associate center tries to suggest which problems students present in order to reduce the dropout ratio. The study indicates that the most incidents are labor factors but also the work load and the discontinuity of feedback during the course.
