Zusammenfassung
In this paper we present asurvey on the pattern of gross job creation and grossjob destruction in the Spanish economy, comparing theresults to those found in other OECD countries. We also analyse the relation between the degree of job reallocation and several dimensions of labour market behaviour (unemployment rate, unemployment duration, productivity, etc.). Finally, we report some new evidence onhow job reallocation varies by employer size, trying to evaluate the conventional myth about the job-creating prowess of small businesses.es motores en la creación neta de empleo.
