Abstract

This paper makes an approximation to an assessment of regulation in service sector. The aim is double. First, it shows main parameter that value quality in service regulation and its implications within the context of new challenges in political economy. Second, it makes a description of the perception of quality regulation in service sector from a survey carried out by OCDE to enterprises from eleven different countries, Spain included. National differences seem to be more explanatory than any other enterprising or sectorial factors . Regulation quality seems to be more related with economic features and development of countries than with the kind of activity or the type of firm.
