Abstract
This paper analyzes the recent rulings of the CJEU on the discrimination trial related to the prohibition of the employer on wearing the Islamic headscarf at work. It analyzes the scope of action of religious freedom in labor relations and its specific projection from the point of view of labor discrimination. It is specifically studied whether an employer can prohibit a worker with a Muslim religion wearing a veil at work in their relationship with clients or if he can dismiss an employee for refusing to remove the Islamic headscarf he had been using at work.
