Abstract

A large share of river basins in Spain as well as many others in the rest of the world suffer from water stress. hence, it is necessary to seek alternatives to standard water resources. this study gives an integral overview of one of these alternatives: reclaimed water. Furthermore, it deepens on its progress in Spain as well as on the past and present status of this water resource, and provides some significant examples of its use.
