Abstract

A better understanding of personal factors that influence adoption of sustainable lifestyles -linked to a lower Carbon Footprint (CF)- i key to designing Climate Change mitigation policies. This study presents exploratory results of a representative survey form the Spanish population, examining the extent to which personal factors-religious beliefs, political orientation, conservation motives, worldview and connection to nature-influence CF at the individual level.
