Abstract
Forest fires constitute one of the most widespread natural disturbances of forest ecosystems. This study analyses the post-fire recovery dynamics in Mediterranean pine forests from the Southeast of Spain by using time series of Landsat satellite images and LiDAR data for a 30-year period (1990-2020). Time-series enable the analysis of the recovery evolution in terms of the spectral response of the vegetation and LiDAR data provide direct information on forest structural characteristics.
