Resumo
In this work we study the distribution function of the average iron charge state at 1AU. We want to study its distribution and for that, we use data from the last 20 years from the ACE spacecraft. We apply the bi-Gaussian distribution function to different datasets: whole, yearly or monthly datasets, so we obtain the fittings and the parameters. These distributions will allow us to study the temporal evolution of the parameters along with the correlation with the solar cycle using the sunspots as a proxy for solar activity. We will also be able to identify new interplanetary coronal mass ejections (ICMEs) that were not present in previous catalogs.
