Nowadays, energy efficiency appears as a fundamental element in tackling climate change and reducing our carbon footprint. This research work arises from the need to provide sustainable evidence through investment in Information and Communication Technologies (TIC) in the framework of the Internet of Things (IoT). We propose mechanisms for cooperative stakeholder management to provide large-scale demand management services, as well as a comprehensive framework for their operation. Smart communities, capable of cooperating safely and identifying energy consumption patterns, will make consumption more sustainable and efficient.
