We have developed teaching lab sessions for a course in Advanced Chemistry. In these sessions, the experimental work in the lab is combined with a literature research essay focused on the practicum. The students will have to search for information in the literate commonly used in research, such as the JCR specialized journals. At the end of the teaching lab, the students will present their work to the rest of the classroom, explaining the results obtained in the lab and in the literature research. Hence the implication of the students in the generation of their own knowledge and in the transfer to the others is attained. The topics chosen are cutting edge research areas and will improve their knowledge and complement the course lectures.
