Doctor by the Universidad de Alcalá with the thesis Complejos neutros y catiónicos cilcoentadienil N2 dianido de los elementos del grupo 4 como modelos de catalizadores en procesos de polimerización y copolimerización de olefinas 2005. Supervised by Dr. José Tomás Cuenca Ágreda.

Degree in Chemistry in 1998 with extraordinary award and PhD in Chemistry from the University of Alcalá in 2005 also with extraordinary awards. Since 2011 and after the completion of a competitive examination she is currently Professor under the figure of Associate Professor PhD in the area of Inorganic Chemistry. Her thesis dealt with the behavior of organometallic titanium complexes for the polymerization of olefins and the study of the active species causing this process. He has carried out research stays at the Universitá degli Studi di Salerno (Italy) in the group of Prof. Dr. Alfonso Grassi, recognized expert in polymerization studies. He has also developed a research line oriented to the modification of clays to create solid acid catalysts. His area of expertise is focused on the design of catalysts for catalytic processes in which he has also carried out epoxidation and sulfoxidation studies. Currently, her studies are focused on obtaining bioplastics from terpenes as monomers by means of controlled catalytic processes. She is author of 27 publications and has supervised three PhD theses, one more in process as well as TFGs and TFMs. From 2017 to 2023 she was associate dean of the Chemistry Degree. She has obtained two awards, in 2020 and 2022, from the UAH for the "Most original and innovative formula to disseminate science in society" for the realization of outreach events. In 2021 he also obtained a runner-up prize for the best technology-based company for the SUSPOL-Sustainable Polymers business project.
